Down with skis, up with a cable car
The highest mountain in Lower Saxony offers numerous winter sports opportunities for families, sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs at an altitude of almost 1000 m!
Wallrunning, Megazipline and Gigaswing (pre-booking required): February to December Titan RT Suspension Bridge: open all year round Click here for the website.
Exciting events and breathtaking nature form a unique symbiosis at the Rappbode Dam. Guaranteed leisure fun for the whole family. Hiking enthusiasts can explore circular hiking trails with connections to the Harzer Hexenstieg (Harz Witches' Trail) and stroll across the Titan RT, the longest suspension bridge of its kind, which clutches mightily into the slate rock on both sides of the valley with the tensile force of 947 t and a length of 458 m. But the most exciting walk in the Rappboden valley can be experienced by wallrunning: 43 meters down the Wendefurth dam wall - pure adrenaline. Or do you want to feel the Harz adrenaline? Then we recommend a flight on our Megazipline, Europe's longest double-sided slide. Alone or in pairs parallel side by side you fly over the Rappbode valley and feel the wind at 85 km/h.
Even more adrenaline is waiting for you at the Gigaswing. Dare a pendulum jump from our suspension bridge Titan RT. A 70 m free fall followed by a swing through the valley promises an amazing experience.
Afterwards you can relax in the rest area with picnic islands. On the playground the little visitors have the possibility to experience the events in miniature.
