Where in the Harz the devil is loose

A day with us in the Bode Valley - simply great! The view from Rosstrappe and Hexentanzplatz to the deeply cut Bode Valley and the bizarre rocks is unique. The mythical landscape has inspired many: Primal, wild and a bit eerie. No wonder that there are many witch stories about this place. Our little Gondolina is a good witch you can trust. She advises you to take the chairlift to the Rosstrappe first. From the top station, it is only a short hike to the viewpoint of the Rosstrappe. If you get hungry after the descent, you can enjoy a delicious meal in the Hexenkessel.

After the stop, the cable car will take you up to the Hexentanzplatz. If you dare, take one of the green gondolas. Why? They have a glass floor. As you climb higher and higher over the jagged rock formations, it's quite exciting.

The Harzbob summer toboggan run is not far from the mountain station. Here the riders can go all out. In sleek bobsleds, you'll go up and down through steep hairpin bends, over funny hops and in long shooting stretches through the middle of the forest. Fast fun for everyone or relaxed for those who don't like it quite so fast.

The fun island with its giant climbing maze, mega swings and crazy loops also promises fun for the whole family. On the Boderitt, you can take a fun ride together up and down the Bode. In the splashy whirlpool you whirl around wildly with your children and in the Nautic Jet even the youngest makes a giant splash in the water.

A day with us is a great thing for everyone!
