Fascinating natural wonders
Directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg lies the small cave village of Rübeland. With its unique stalactite caves (Baumann's and Hermann's Caves), it has always been known far beyond the borders of Europe.
Paradise lies in the southern Harz! The Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen houses the largest collection of roses in the world. Within the impressive botanical garden of 13 hectares, an incomparable sea of scents and colours opens up to the visitor, a magical-looking splendour of millions of rose blossoms surrounded by rare trees and shrubs. Such an incredible diversity of 8,700 rose varieties and species is unique in the world!
From July to August, the annual exhibition "Rose meets Art" captivates visitors to the Europa-Rosarium. On display are art objects from various design directions and materials, made by artists from all over Germany.
You can also browse through the rosy range of products on offer in the garden dreams shop and, of course, the rose shop. Younger guests can let off steam in the play and adventure world.
